LG Electronics introduced a global smartphone called LG Fathom, that supports the work of the networks CDMA EV-DO, GSM / GPRS / EDGE and UMTS / HSDPA. Fathom has the sliding QWERTY-keyboard, 3.2-inch touch screen, camera with 3.2 Megapixels, controller Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11b/g/n), Bluetooth 2.1 module and a slot for flash card format microSDHC volume up to 16 GB.
At the core of the gadget is the processor with Qualcomm Snapdragon 1 GHz. LG Fathom is running Windows Mobile 6.5.3. Cost is $ 150 device, subject to signing of the two-year contract. It will be available from June 2010.
